COLLEGE OF AGRICULTURE vacancy 2020 :-
Applications are invited to attend Interview (in-person/ online through video conferencing) for a vacant post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under DBT, Govt. of India, New Delhi funded project “Development of pre and post harvest bunch care management methods for fresh bananas" for a period upto March, 2021 in the Department of Horticulture, College of Agriculture, Tripura. Qualification for the post of JRF :-
- Masters in Horticulture/ Junior Research (JRF) at a fixed salary of Rs. 25,000 + HRA. Agriculture/ Botany/ Biotechnology.
Desirable for the post of JRF :-
- specialization in Fruit Science/ Post harvest technology in Horticulture with NET and research experience. Possessing PhD with Owing to the prevailing COVID-19 crisis, candidates may choose for interview either in pérson or through online process.
How to Apply for the post of JRF :-
- The eligible candidates (appearing in-person as well as online mode) are requested to send their application and biodata along with scanned copy of the original documents through email to dbtbaner5@gmail.com and a copy to angamirel@gmail.com by 11:00 AM of June 27, 2020.
- After screening the applications, the eligible candidates will be informed for further details regarding interview to be held at College of Agriculture, Tripura on June 30, 2020 at 11:00 AM by email or over phone.
- Original documents of the candidates appearing interview in-person will be verified on the interview date and for the candidates appearing online interview, documents will be verified later.
Terms and Conditions for the post of JRF :-
1. Maximum age limit is 37 years. Relaxation for women, SC, ST & OBC candidates as per Govt. norms.2. No TA/DA and official accommodation will be provided for appearing in the interview.
3, The offer is purely contractual, initially for a period as mentioned above and is extendable subject to annual review and is co-terminus with the completion of the project with no provision of regular appointment.
4. No Earned Leave/ Medical Leave is admissible.
5. If the candidate does not perform duties of the project as desired by the authority/ PI, the undersigned has the right to terminate the candidate without any explanation.
6. The candidate should produce all the relevant certificate, mark sheet, experience certificate. original for verification.
7. Candidate should submit scanned copy of duly signed application with ful bio-data addressed to the Principal, College of Agriculture, Tripura with scanned certificates, mark sheets from HSLC onwards. A recent passport size photograph should also be affixed on the top of the biodat
8. The Principal, College of Agriculture, Tripura reserves the right to cancel/ postpone/ reject the interview without any reason thereof.
