East Coast Railway shortly ECOR is one of the seventeen zones of Indian Railway. The Railway network covers the region of Odisha, Chhattisgarh and also Andhra Pradesh. East Coast Railway has been operating since 2003. Headquarter of ECOR has been located in Bhubaneswar, Odisha until now. Presently, the railway network covers an area of 5214 kilometres and has 273 railway stations.

Educational Qualification of East Coast Railway Recruitment:-
- Nursing Superintendent - 10+2 in science or its equivalent, BSC Nursing
- Pharmacist- Diploma in Pharmacy,
- Dresser/OTA/Hospital Attendants (Level -1) - Minimum Matriculate,
- Contract Medical Practitioner (GDMO) - MBBS pass degree from any recognized board/ university.
Age Limit of East Coast Railway Recruitment:-
- Nursing Superintendent: 20 – 38 years
- Pharmacist: 20 – 35 years
- Dresser/ OTA/ Hospital Attendant: 18 – 33 years
- Doctors (GDMOs): Not exceeding 53 years of age
